Exclamation Duration Calculation & Results Populated on Another Sheet

    Hello Excel Wizards!
I hope you can help me here.... I have been playing with this for several hours and seem to get to work.

This is what I need help with...

Take a look at the "Schedule Sheet" First I am not sure if I really need "Hidden Columns - F & G. But what I am looking for this to do is the Start date and the End date to be populated on the "Internal Sheet" according to the calendar date it falls under with the Name of the that Task at the beginning of the Start date.
On the Internal tab I showed you how it should look like with "Task B"

A little in a rush and on bind with this one - Thank you for taking the time to review and assist with any help anyone can provide. ~Inez15

    Hello
Maybe create a Gantt chart using conditional formatting. See attachment.

Hope this gets you out of the bind.

Re: Duration Calculation & Results Populated on Another Sheet

This does give it another method to do it. But I need all the formula on Schedule tab and I need for the Name "Task A" to appear at the beginning of the highlighted duration in the Internal tab. So all the changes that are done on the Schedule tab populate on Internal tab. Would that be possible?

Re: Duration Calculation & Results Populated on Another Sheet

    Hello
I've replaced the Vlookup formulas but if you want to label the beginning of each highlighted section with the Task name then I would have to put formulas in the cells. See attachment version 2.

I've had to create a couple of named ranges: 'Start' and 'End' so as the conditional formatting can reference the 'Schedule' sheet.

I've not really tested it thoroughly but it appears to work. I don't see a way of doing this without formulas in the 'Internal' Sheet unless one of our VBA gurus knows a way!. Another option would be to create a Gantt chart with an Excel Chart.

Re: Conditional Format not working Properly

DBY - Thank you for helping me the other day. I have made progress with what you have sent me. But I have run into small snag.

I put in the formula you have shared with me into my spreadsheet. But here is my current issue.
-- On the "Internal" tab I cannot get the conditional format to work properly. The highlight of the conditional format is not working. The spreadsheet you sent works great but when I add it to my original I could not get to function the same.

It either does not highlight at all or it does not highlight at the correct start date, on the spreadsheet.

If you could assist me again that would be great - Thank you!!
