    Problem with date formatting

Hi, I am wanting to convert a date so that it shows the date and day after it. e.g. 12/11/12 Mon (being 12th November in my part of the world).

I am using the following custom format:

    [$-C09]ddd d/mm/yy;@

This allows me to have it show as: Mon 12/11/12 (I want the space in between so that the entry wraps to two lines in the cell). What I really want to do though is to have it so that it shows as : 12/11/12 Mon - but if I change the custom format to [$-C09] d/mm/yy;@ddd or similar it does not work to put the day after the date.

    Appreciate any help

    Re: Problem with date formatting

Although Martin's suggestion does indeed make the text wrap in the cell, it still requires the column to be wide enough to accommodate the unwrapped date.

Which could be what you want, I reckon ...
