How to connect a single cell value with a range of cells

    Hai all,

My requirement. If I had given formula in a SINGLE CELL, a RANGE OF CELLS( say C1 to C5) should display the same value(letter A),instead of giving formula to each cells from B1 to B5( by dragging the formula in B1 to cells up to B5).

    Example: A1="A", B1= FORMULA/EXCEL FUNCTION
    RESULT NEEDED- C1="A" ,C2="A" C3="A" C4="A" C5="A"

Hi - To confirm, what you need is a formula in cell B1 which will generate value in cell A1 in all cells frmo C1....C5.

If thats correct, i suggest to use VBA instead.

    Thanks.
