Copy single cell into multiple cells

    Hello,

I have a question regarding copying values of a single cell into multiple cells where they align vertically. I would like to have 3 cells of each initial product.

The left column shows the current list of product and the right one shows the desired output (please ignore the .'s, placed them there for the sake of aligning it).

    Thanks in advance!
    Tim

Assuming that your data starts in row 2, try this code
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Copy the Excel VBA code
Select the workbook in which you want to store the Excel VBA code
Hold the Alt key, and press the F11 key, to open the Visual Basic Editor
    Choose Insert | Module
Where the cursor is flashing, choose Edit | Paste

To run the Excel VBA code:
    Choose View | Macros
Select a macro in the list, and click the Run button

Thank you for your reply Arlette.

I have just started out with understanding VBA and I have tried to get the above code to work yet I didn't manage to do it. Could you give me an example of which paramaters I should perhaps change?
Furthermore I work with a Dutch MS Office, I know that some parts of the code remain in English, whereas others should be changed into the Dutch name (Sheet1 for instance?)?

Thanks in advance for helping me and helping me understand it as well.
    Regards,
    Tim

Yeah you will need to change Sheet1 to what shows in your file.

The code assumes that the first column is A starting in row 2 and the output will start from column B row 2.
