    Non Functioning HyperLinks

I have a client that is experiencing an issue that I don't understand. He has created an Excel worksheet (Excel 2010) and placed Hyperlinks in it to other worksheets within the company network. He created these links using the Hyperlink Wizard so that I know that the spelling and path are correct. When he attempts to open the hyperlinks he gets an error message. See the attached. It is the first message. When he clicks OK, he then receives the second message. The hour glass icon begins to spin and nothing happens. If he clicks off to the side, then the hour glass stops but the hyperlink is never opened.

Any suggestions for a fix to this issue. Did some google searches but did not find anything that resembled this issue.

    Thanks

    Re: Non Functioning HyperLinks

Still not sure what the real issue was here, but it was solved by changing the file name. Apparantly, Excel did not like the file name. I will do a little bit of research on file names. I wonder if there are reserved characters in Excel similar to those in Access.
