Using search/find with exact match functionality

    Hello,

    I have the following formula:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
It works great for finding all duplicate strings in column L and summing the corresponding values in M. However, if my value in P3 is "abcd", it will also find strings like "abcdef". Is there a way to tell it to search this and only this. Much like putting a 0 in the match function, MATCH(*,*,0)?

    Thank you

    How about:

    =SUMIF(L:L, P3, M:M)

Wow. My tendency to over-complicate things has struck again! Thank you
