[QUERY] Help on importing .csv data

    Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum, so please excuse if I don`t know this (maybe) trivial thing. I also used the search function to see for similar problems, but didnt find any..

I want to do a data analysis on data which is provided in .csv format.

Now I tried to import the data in Excel 2010, but it looks very weird (see screenshot attached). Like everything is seperated with ,,,, and I guess there is an easy way to import it, but I tried for hours and didnt figure it out.

    Any help is highly appreciated!!

    Best regards,

    Paul

All your data has gone into one column (A). Highlight that column, then click on Data | Text-to-columns, then click Delimited, Next, Click on Comma, Next, then click Finish.

    Hope this helps.

This is a comma delimited file. You could put it in to columns by using the Excel feature on the Data Tab of the Ribbon. Text to Columns. Follow the wizard.
