how to convert different date format in single format

Could you please provide us with some sample date formats which you want to convert to what format?

2/5/2001
30/04/2003

can we convert above format in a dd-mm-yyyy format

Select the Cell or Range of Cells you want to format, and then after Right Click, Select "custom". There you may set the format as dd-mm-yyyy.
