    Talking Change the fill on a cell based on the fill of another cell?

    Good Afternoon

    I would like to set a sheet so that, if A4:M146 is highlighted in pink then, G1 highlights in the same colour - is that possible? I have no experience with VBA so, if that is the only way to achieve it....please can you give me step by step instructions???

    do you manually change that cell to pink or use conditional formatting to change it; if the later then you can put the same conditions on the g cells

    There is a Conditional format on cells A4:M146 that says if one cell is populated in a line then the remaining cells on that line are highlighted - it is at that point, whenever a cell is highlighted, that I want G1 to become highlighted - does that make sense?
