Hi all,

I run a delivery service and keep updated a database of all past clients. As it stands at the moment, I manually enter a client's phone number and have excel retrieve their details.

I was wondering if there is a relatively cheap way of having excel automatically bringing up the details when the phone rings? I realise it will involve some form of hardware, presumably something like a dial up modem, and possibly some software as well. Although, ideally, I would like to be able to just have the hardware, and then use vba as some sort of interface between excel and the modem.
