    Hi,

Why complicate the process with a macro when there are perfectly straightforward bog standard Excel functions available?

    e.g. in D2 and copied
    down and across to E12

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Similarly for the second set of rows on the Players sheet, although you would simplify things if everything was consistently listed on rows 1:19

    Re: Vba and Fomula conflict

    Thankyou Richard Buttrey

its probably me, but i couldn't get it to work properly at all

i couldn't copy across with the formula either, and maybe i'm wrong, but you said to E12 and
i need it to goto E21 unless it was a typo, but seriously i appreciate your help and fast response,
but unfortunately it didn't work for me , if it works for you, please send me the book back with it
working and maybe i'll learn something by seeing where you put the formula.

    Thanks
    Keith

    Hi,

    See attached.

I mentioned E12 since that was the last row that is covered by your payers data in Row 1.

The Row 20 items will need the formula modifying which is why I mentioned it would be better if all the Players data was incorporated on rows 1:19

    Re: Vba and Fomula conflict

Thankyou again Richard Buttrey, i love your prompt responses

i don't think i have explained myself good enough, my 1st attachment has no formulas in sheet4 "HIDE" colum D or E
but B2 and C2 would keep a running total from D2 and C2, but everytime any type of formula gets entered into
D2 or C2 the numbers don't add up anymore in B2 and C2, the code in sheet4 "HIDE" stops working.
