Find the last price of a product sold

    Hello,

I am trying to write a formula that can give me what is the last price that I have sold a particular product.

Basically I have a spreadsheet with something like this:

Date sold / Item / Price
    7-jan / A / 10
    8-jan / B / 22
    9-Feb / B / 15
    10-Mar / C / 12
    10-Mar / A / 18

I would like in another cell with the item's name the last price of that item.

    Item A last price = 18
    Item B last price = 15

    Any help?

How to attach a sample workbook:

    2. On the edit toolbar, click the "Attachments" button.
    3. In the "File Upload Manager" window, click the "Add Files" button.
    4. In the "Upload Files from your Computer" window, click the "Select Files" button.
    5. In the Windows Explorer window, locate and select your workbook, then click the "Open" button.
    6. In the "Upload Files from your Computer" window, click the "Upload Files" button.
    7. In the "File Upload Manager" window, click the "Done" button (lower right of screen).

You should really upload a workbook, however, as this is your first post.
Assuming the data set you described is in Cols A b and C in Col E you need a unique item list (in your case abc then in f2

Re: Find the last price of a product sold

Hello, thanks for your quick response but I am still struggling with the real spreadsheet. My problem is that the item names are not always exactly the same, so It needs to be something like "if this part of the tittle of the item is equal to" then find me the last price. Also, the cells are in different sheets and I would like to ask for the whole column.

I am attaching a smaller spreadsheet, the one I'm working is too big

    I hope the spreadsheet helps
