Sum and averages

I am still learning excel. I am running across a problem I am not too sure on how to do this. I need to modify the sum of price to determine the average issue price and average estimated market value by type. I will enclosed a snapshot of what I am working on.Untitled.jpg

Click on your table.
On right side in Values in Sum of..... click on it
Choose Value Field Settings and change SUM to AVERAGE
