Quick Copy

So I know that you can drag a tab and then hold Ctrl and it will copy that tab to the place that you drop it. Everyonce in a while while I am doing that the cursor changes to three sheets with a + instead of one sheet with a + and will copy three at a time. I would love to know how to do this as I have to copy each tab 400 times...
