Question Return sum of multiple variable data sources

    Hi,

I am trying to create a spreadsheet to calculate the macronutrient content in meals based upon selected ingredients and variable portion sizes. I have thought about tick boxes but I am not aware if that is possible in excel?

I have attached an example of what I want to achieve, if anyone knows of a formula that can do this I would appreciate it very much.

    Put this in K4.
    =SUMIF(G11:G21,"Y",D11:D21)
=SUMIF(Range to find the tick mark, what the tick mark is ,range to sum)

I appreciate your input but the problem is with the varying portion sizes, since the portion size needs to be changed until the combined total macronutrient content of the items selected matches that of the required macronutrient content detailed in C1:H4.
