I don't get a crash if the linked location is hidden. The hyper link just does not work.
What action would you expect from the hyperlink if the destination is hidden?
say, it works in excel 2003.
I have a spreadsheet "X" a link that when clicked go to the worksheet "Z"
But the spreadsheet "Z" is hidden, clicking the link, go to the worksheet "Z"
I only confirms dear even if this is possible, but thanks for the advice, thank you!
Post workbook example to clarify your issue.
Hi.
See my file..
Thank you!!
For me if the sheet is hidden then nothing happens when the hyperlink is clicked, as I would expect.
You can not go to a cell/tab that is hidden.
OK, Andy Pope, and thought there was another option.
but now I understand that if the tab is hidden, the link will not work!
thank you very much!!
