Hi,

I am new to excel. I need help on making a roster where every job needs to go thru at least 3 different test. I have created a list of jobs and tests using excel validation and vba for colour code. There is a total of 11 test with different colour codes.

Currently my roster is base on half hourly. And I need to choose every half an hour to select the test for each job. Each test varies from an hour to 2 hour. My question is,

Can I make a preset option in my sheet 2, where when i select the job number from the drop down list it can automatically covers the half hourly cell with the job colour. In other words, I would like the drop down to keep the preset format from sheet 2 and transfer it to the main page. Or is ther a better way i can get around this problem.

My objective is not to have to many drop down buttons as to minimise roster creation error.
