    Sum a column based on a specific value range

    Ok this is grinding my gears and I am sure it is a simple answer. The formula =SUMIF(A:A,A:A>.1:A:A<5.9,A:A) For the criteria of this equation I am trying to specify the range of .1 to 5.8 and if that is met, to then sum them up. I know this to be the issue A:A>.1:A:A<5.9 but how is it fixed. Hope this is clear.

    Suggest you change the title of this thread as it is too non-descript.

    Use =SUMIFS(A:A,A:A,">.1",A:A,"<5.9")

    Sorry about that fist time poster. I dont know if this title is any better. I will plug this solution in and see if it works. Thanks for the help.
