Provided that block of cells is at the top of the sheet, you can Freeze Panes below it.

Hi TMS.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the block of cells I want to remain fixed start at Cell R19. I have 3 blocks of cells to the left of it which I want to be able to scroll up or down independently of the block at R19.
The only way that I can think of doing this is to open a second window and arrange and size them so that the "fixed" cells are in one window and the scrolling data is in the other. Not ideal.
You may be able to record a macro to size and position the windows but it's not something I've ever tried to do.

I think the Macro is the way forward here. I could put a Command Button on the spreadsheet which when clicked will move the block of cells to the position I want. Quite a good solution actually. Keeps the spreadsheet tidy and it's a whole lot easier than scrolling back and forth all the time.
Thanks for that TMS. Much appreciated.
Jim
You're welcome. Good luck.
