I use this code in workbook open to default the cursor to Textbox1, it gives me a lot of screen flicker on open. Is this
normal or is there a different way to default the cursor?

are you sure it's that line that causes it? does it have the same effect if you run it after the workbook opens?

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
If I delete the code on open, no flicker. I Put the code on a commandbutton and get no flicker when pushed. Getting
flicker on open only, might have to live with it??
try putting the code into a sub in a normal module then in the workbook open use

Thanks Joseph, still flickers. I change the code to 5 seconds and still flickers. If I delete the code in workbook open no flickers. I did find
a work around for my needs,I have a large listbox on the page so I put the code in a mouse move and get no flicker. Strange. The timer code is pretty cool,I will save it
for another project.
