How to multiply a column by 1000?

Hello. I have 3 columns in my workbook. The second column labeled "avg. vol" everything is acually supposed to be 1000 times bigger. For example, B2 is suppose to be 5,064,000. How can I make so all the numbers in this "avg vol" column are 1000 times bigger? Also this data is coming from a DDE server.

Put 1000 in a spare/free cell. Copy the cell.

Now select the range/column you want to increase and Paste Special | operator = multiply. Then delet the contents of the cell with the 1000 in it.

It kind of worked. Some cells have zero in them now.

Maybe you better post an excel(example) instead of a jpg.

    Of course (without confidentional information).

    Thats a good idea.

Edit: I dont think it will work because the data is coming from DDE...

Re: How to multiply a column by 1000?

Is there a way to make it so anytime I put a new number in a specific column, for example the avg vol column, it multiplies the value by 1000?
Like when I put the 1 in B2, can I make a rule where any number I put in there automatically gets multiplied by 1000? Or is this something for VBA?

Have you tried changing the formula in the cell...
    =(STIDDE|Q!'GGP,15')*1000
