how do I add a cell on 20 sheets N38 and place it on the result sheet on C4 on another sheet
Just use
Formula:
=SUM(Sheet1:Sheet20!N38)
i have tried that but doesn't work the main sheet is sheet 1 and i changed the sheets to sheet 2 to 21 it doesn't work thou
perhaps
Formula:=SUM('Sheet2:Sheet21'!N38)

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
it won't allow me to add the file for you to see as the formula isn't working
what does "isn't working" mean? can you enter the formula? does it return an error?
yes it's coming up with #NAME?

what is the exact formula you have entered? (please copy and paste it) I reckon your quotes are in the wrong place
the formula is
Formula:=SUM('Round 2:Round 20'!N8)
not
Formula:=SUM(Round2:Round20!N8)
because you have spaces in the sheet names
am still having trouble ith it
what's the problem-it looks fine to me
