Creating a document with specific needs redirect requested

I am trying to create a form in Excel. What I want to do is have text in each cell that tells you (in a light color over a tinted background color) what information goes into that cell, but I want that all to be background. What I want is to make each cell a field where you can enter in the information and for it to be in Black/Automatic colored text, and override the light colored text in the background.

Does that even make any sense?
