    Re: how to transpose columns into rows

    Are you trying to combine them to 1 column?

    Maybe I'm missing something. Initially it sounded like the question was how to change the columns into rows.
    - Copy column
    - right click destination cell
    - Paste Special
    - Check "transpose" box
    - "ok"

    I'm not following what you mean by that you need them in one column only.

    Check-out this one. However, I do not really understand your problem. Forgive me if I gave wrong answer.

    Re: how to transpose columns into rows

    the problem is that I need the first table (in reality it has 6500 lines) to be in the form of the second table (please look at my original file);
    so I have the payments all in one column, the periods all in the second column, sorted by Borrower ID and Loan ID
