Copying Formulas across workbooks as is

Simple question, yet can't find a solution on my own.

I have a set of data with various forumulas (mostly simple references to other cells). I want to copy this data to another workbook as is. I.E. if the cell is =C123, I just want =C123 in the other workbook because the cells stay the same, the data just changes.

    Thanks in advance!

I would like to do this without absolute referencing if possible.

Ok this might be a work around but if you find all and replace = with &= or something and make sure its formatted as text you will get text not formuals. Then copy it al land paste into the new workbook. After it is pasted in reverse the find and replace and you sohuld have all your formulas back.

Select the cell with the formula in, click in the formula bar, highlight the full formula, CTRL-C, press Esc key, move cursor to destination cell (in another sheet if necessary), then CTRL-V.

    Hope this helps.

That works for one but will that work for a whole set, say even 10x10?

Go with smls' answer - select the range of cells, CTRL-H, change = to $$=, then copy/paste to the new location, then CTRL-H, change $$= to =, and again with the original cells. You will need to delete any data in that range which applies to the old file as well.

Alternatively, CTRL-drag the sheet from one file window to another to copy it, then remove any data associated with the old file.

    Hope this helps.
