It does not change to correct movies. If you go to comedy and one movie comes up in listbox you should click and it will go to correct movie.
Well try this..
I changed the code to pick the movie name directly. All lookups are now refercned to Cell J9

Yes this is getting closer,can we have it clear the list after button selection. When you open the book all movies is the default and it opens to the first movie in the list. I will play around and try to make chankes. You got it closer to my goal, just a couple little things to fix. If you have time play around with the little problems. Not sure when you do a search it will fill the data in the list box.

I got all the bugs out I think, just can't get the workbook to default to filling the listbox with "all movies" on open?

However, the ListFillRange for Listbox2 needs to be null. If you can get that to happen on opening the workbook, you'd be home. My lack of knowledge of listboxes combined with VBA fails me here. Did you try this ?? getting run time error 70 Permission Denied
Cleared listbox on workbook close, still does not work. This is the last bug to fix I hope.
