    Unhappy Camera Tool Reference

    Hi All,

Can anyone help me with referencing a camera tool in Excel 2010.

I had Excel 2003 and it was simple, If I placed the camera tool into a sheet and then wanted it to show a named reference I.E. a list I created it was simple. In the formula box I would simply type =LISTNAME (after creating a NAMED LIST in the document)

However in 2010 when I do this I get a message box saying 'Invalid Reference'

    Any ideas?

    Thanks E

Works for me. Sure you are using the correct name?

    Post example workbook.

    Re: Camera Tool Reference

    Hi Andy,

After building an example work book, I’ve stumbled across the problem, for some reason in 2010 The list selection via VLOOKUP needs to already be selected (via a drop down box) before giving the camera tool a reference (if that makes sense). This didn’t happen for me in 2003, but a simple fix none the less.

    Thanks
    E

    @ Environment

Based on your last post it seems that you have solved your issue but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED. I'll do that for you now but please keep in mind for your future threads that Rule #9 requires you to do that yourself. If your problem has not been solved you can use Thread Tools (located above your first post) and choose "Mark this thread as unsolved".
    Thanks.
