Strange behavior comparing two text entries!

I have a simple 3 cells excel sheet named "Weird.xlsx" that I can not figure out the behavior of. Cell C1 should result in "true" but it results in "false". If I retype type in cell A1 the same name, then C1 results in "true". So what is it currently in cell A1 that is preventing it to equal B1?

    Thanks.

hi yash.aneja, welcome to Excelforum, the reason is that A1 cell string length is 8 symbols and B1 - 7. This one symbol is front space in A1.
