Excel 2007 : How to replace spaces between words with dashes?

My text is in column A, and I want to replace the space between all words with a dash. I tried this: find what " " and replace with - , but it doesn't work.

Just press the space bar, don't use the quotes.
Press Ctrl&h
Find what-press space bar
replace with -

As dave says is fine, but if your string has leading/trailing or consecutive spaces you might want to try this
