I've made a previous post similar to this one before, which is here: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ss-streak.html. This is a little different though, which I'll explain.
I have a workbook that I've cobbled together to help me see the standings for NHL hockey games that update when I put in the results, similar to the one in the link above. The workbook still displays Conference, Division, and League standings. This time though, it is for NHL games prior to the lockout in 2004, back when ties were allowed, so the possible results are win, loss, or tie. I'd like to be able to have a column on the "NHL" sheet in this workbook that would tell me, for each team, their results in the most recent 10 games (in wins-losses-ties format, e.g. 6-3-1), as well as another column that would state their current streak of consecutive wins, losses, or ties (in the format of "W", "L", or "T" (to indicate win, loss or tie), followed by a space, followed by a number indicating how many consecutive wins, losses, or ties the team has, e.g. "W 3", "L 5", or "T 2"). Can anyone help me? This is an Excel 2007 workbook, which I have attached to this post. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone could help with a similar issue in another standings workbook that is, again, slightly different, that would be awesome too; I'd be happy to upload one of those workbooks also. Thanks in advance!
