I just bought Excel 2010, and downloaded the latest Power pivot version. When I open excel I could not see the PV(Power pivot) icon, so I have done the following, but nothing seems to work:
Option/add-in-select PV- go to com-addin. I can see adds-in available window and then at the bottom there is an error message:
Load Behavior: Not loaded: Run time error occurred during the loading of the Com add-in.
I have read on-line help that PV would not work if I did not install the customise version of excel 2010. Is this right? When I put in the CD, I just clicked the first option and not second option of custom installation. Could anyone please help? I am stack
