    Collating cells from a quantity column onto another worksheet tab.

    I am a beginner and trying to transfer select data to a different tab. There are about 1200 cells of which several are selected to transfer by a quantity selection in a cell in the same row and gathered to another tab. It is basically a catalog. I am a rookie and don't know how to do it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

    Post a sample workbook, by clicking Go Advanced and using the paperclip icon or clicking on Manage Attachments below your text, and then you can refer in your description of what you want to achieve to the columns of data in that workbook.

    When a quantity is selected in column I, I need the information from the cells in columns c:I in the same row to be collated into the Data sheet starting in the top row and collating down as items are selected.
    I hope the worksheet samples are attached, I didnt know how to make them small enough for the forum.

    Your two sheets are in a different format, but I think that Width, Height and Depth relate to columns D, E and F in your Order sheet. However, there is no Code column in that sheet, and I can't see where Drws, Doors, Qty, Fin Ends or Hinging is located. Please use headers in your Orders sheets so that it is easier to relate the two sheets together.

    Also, I'm not clear what it is that you want to achieve - presumably you want to select the records by some criteria and have those matching records appear on the other sheet, but what is the criteria and how will you select it?
