Excel data arrangement

I have two columns with over a 20000 rows. The first column contains name of the elements Cu and Zr randomly arranged. The other column has the type which are two numbers 1 and 2 also randomly arranged. I want to assign number 1 to Cu and no 2 to Zr how should I do that?

as I mentioned there are tonnes of rows and I want the output as

and so on its like wherever I have Zr I want the type 2 and for Cu as 1.
