    Alphabetizing Worksheets in Excel 2010

I recently took responsibility of a large amount of data in several Excel 2010 workbooks. The previous person was saving a copy of each workbook that alphabetized the worksheets. There are no macros in place. I know she was doing it, I just can't figure out how. Any solutions?

    Hi
what do you mean by "alphabetized" - e.g. is each sheet in a workbook named a different letter (A, B, C etc) or are the workbooks themselves saved with names with successive letters (A.xlsm, B.xlsm, C.xlsm etc), or something else?

As I previously stated, the worksheets are in alphabetical order(by numbers first, then by letter, A to Z) to coincide with the alphabetized invoices in QuickBooks. There is the original workbook(in its own order) and the copy(named Print) which is alphabetized.

sorry, I'm still not sure what you want to do

it looks like the kind of task a macro could do easily (it may have been in your predecssor's personal macro library), but without knowing the names of the sheets and workbooks that you want to create, and where to get these from, I don't know how to help you.

If you could upload copies of the file showing what you want it could help - assuming you have no confidentiality issues
