Comparing data in a Pair of Columns with another Pair of Columns

We are trying to automate the comparison of data in the following way:

The combination of Vulnerability ID # in column A plus NetBIOS System Name in Column B from the past month with the combination Vulnerability ID # in column C plus NetBIOS System Name in Column D to see where AB does not exist in CD and vice versa.

This may work best if we use a workbook with Worksheet 1 is past month Vulnerability ID and NetBIOS Name and Worksheet 2 is current month Vulnerability ID and NetBIOS Name. Worksheet 3 is Remediated Past month to current month. Worksheet 4 is New vulnerabilities from past month to current month.

I may not be making any sense, but we are really struggling.

Are you able to post your workbook without confidential information?

    Cheers,

    Hi,

For the first part of your problem, I think you should try concatenate ormulae to compare the resultes.
In cell E1 Formulua should be =Concatenate(A2,B2) and in Cell F1 it should be =concatenate(C2,D2). Then in G2 you can simply put =E2=F2 , this will return the value true is the results match or else false.

If you are looking for individual values, like ID in cell a2 in c2 with a different system name, you can try search function in excel.

However I'm not able to understand the workbook and past or current month data you are talking about. Please elaborate the issue and attach an excel file so we can understand what you are looking for.

    Warm regards
