    hi alidde, so if today's date is within July, it should highlight all dates in july? Assuming data starts at A3:A10. Highlight them & go to Home -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
    =MONTH($A3)=MONTH(TODAY())
