Date Formats

HI Everyone,

I have an sheet with a list of dates on them, I converted them to mm-dd-yyyy. I need to concatinate the mm-dd-yyyy format with another cell but it just gives me the text format of the date and not the hyphened version.

Do it like this:

=A1 & TEXT(D1,"mm-dd-yyyy")

or:

=TEXT(D1,"mm-dd-yyyy") & A1

where D1 contains the date and A1 is the cell that you want to join to.
