sorting numbers according to their appearance in rows and colums

I want to sort numbers 1-9 in rows and columns according to the number of times they appear

1 = 5

2 = 4

3 = 5

please help

I wanted to know how can i create a list that counts duplicates number in according to their appearance in excel sheet suppose if No. 1 has appeared 5 times it should show 1 = 5 if 2 has appeared 3 times it should show 2 = 3
