How to turn certain cells green

I have a file (that is attached) that contains rows of dimensions, and some of them contain an asterisk at the end. I was looking for a way to turn just the cells with the asterisk at the end green, so I tried conditional formatting for cells ending in "*" to have a fill color of green but that didn't seem to work right as none of them turned green. Is there another way to accomplish this?
