Count how often value occurs in multiple groups with non adjacent cells.

More help needed

I have a worksheet and need to calculate some data. Here's how it looks
Col G rows 31-34, 64-67, 105-108, 148-151, 184-187, 216-219, 251-254, 280-283, 309-312, 337-340, 366-369, 394-397 have four different groups

IE G31 group 1
G32 group 2
G33 Group 3
G34 Group 4
G64 Group 1
G65 Group 2
G66 Group 3
G67 Group 4 on and on.

Column H same rows indicates each group completed the list of items for a project.

IE G31 group 1 H31 C
G32 group 2 H32 P
G33 Group 3 H33 C
G34 Group 4 H34 C

"C" indicates complete "P" indicates partial complete blankk means not started.

Basicallly I I need a formula that will calculate how manny times a "C appears next to each group.

So cell G3 "Group 1 Total C" H3 =#C's(Group1,G31:G397)

I cannot change from C and P as this data is copied from & copied to other worksheets, in this workbook of 80+ pages and would cause other calculation errors.

Any and all help is appreciated.
