    Averageif statement for Excel 2003

Hi, I am looking to make an averageif function in excel 2003 that would average only the numbers that meet my criteria, but I cant figure out how to do it. I made an example table that I attached. Basically i want a function that will average the numbers (column B) only if they match the criteria (column A). Please help! Thank you in advance!Example.xls
