    Question Date format problem from an BI query

    I have to different dates in 2 colums, this is a BI file and exported to excel, but now it seems that excel is not seeing this dates a valid date format? I uploaded the file can someone please assist. Cause if want to use formula to count the days in between and excel needs to see this a a proper date format. want to use formula =datedif(x1,y1,"D")

    Select a column of dates, Data > Text to Columns, click Next twice, tick Date, select MDY then click Finish. Repeat for the other column.

    Hi Thalassa, thanks for the feedback, could you count the day after you changed it with the folmula datedif? still give me #value error

    Some dates in column A are greater than those in column B and vice versa. You would need a formula like

    =IF(B1>A1,B1-A1,A1-B1)
