    summarizing from a pivot table

I have attached a file to help with this problem. I have data coming out of a pivot table that I want to summarize based on a set range of columns. I want them to summarize on index codes (ledger accounts).

I know how to achieve this using sumifs but I was trying to avoid having to set hundreds of different ranges since the pivot table and the report that it needs to go into are not in the same formate (I can't just sort on index and drag to get them to match up.

Is there a way to use vlookup or index/match or something similar to make this process simplier. Would I need to get a hold of the pivot table and use the filter option?

Any help would be appreciated, I hope I explained this well.
