    Smile Visual display of information with 3 variables

    I want to create a visual view of the following information in Excel with 3 variables - date, $sent and rate
    Something like a graph or chart - i m not very familiar with what to use. can someone help me create a visual display of this information.

    heres my data -
    Date $sent rate
    23-Sep-10 10000 42
    10-Dec-10 5000 43
    11-May-11 8000 45
    11-Aug-11 6000 44
    12-Nov-11 8000 55
    12-Feb-12 7000 50
    12-May-12 4000 48

    I would recommend creating a combined column and line chart like this.

    Thanks Steve that helps and exactly what i was looking for. However i do not know how to create a combined chart and line diagram.. can you help me with some quick reference.

    to help you get started, here is the graph. right-click on the graph and look at the various options afforded. see if you can figure out, and if you have question about something, ask.

    CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
    Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
