Autofill based on column data

Hey,
I have a data set (column 1) in my spreadsheet. I need to concatenate sequentially an @@1, @@2 and @@3 to the end of the first three entries as seen in column 2. Once the data changes to the next set of numbers (SV1206256002), I need to start the sequence of @@1, @@2 and @@3 over again. Is there a way to do this with autofill \ concatenate or perhaps another way without having to do this manually? Thank you...

db3712,

Welcome to the forum!
In cell B1 and copied down:
=A1&"@@"&COUNTIF($A$1:A1,A1)
Hope that helps,

=A1&"@@"&row(A1) copied down will also work, if you want an alternative
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

FDibbins, I don't see how that would reset the count when a new item is encountered in column A. Wouldn't the result just be...
