I am creating a table that requires user to input a start date and end date. Afterwhich the table should expand the rows to allow each row to represent 1 yr.

For example,

Start Date 25/11/04 End Date 19/08/08

Is there any way I could let it auto expand? Currently I have to tab to allow the full dates to be shown.
If it could be done, would it be locked when the formulas in the table r protected? Cos when the worksheet is protected, I am unable to expand the table even when I press tab.
