Want to create an excel calender that auto populates with column data

    Hi,

I want to create a calender in excel, that auto populates itself using column information.

Lets say, I have 2 columns, one being Date, other being the information with which the calender should populate itself.
    Nothing too fancy.
Please help. Would help a great deal.

PS - I am a noob to excel of the first order.

Populates with what info? That's where? Organized how? Multiple references per date or only one? Do you want the calendar to be dynamic centered on today or do you want it to be fed a given month manually?

My gut is to say what you want can probably be done, but, I don't really know what you want, so specifics are impossible.

    Populates with what info?
With information that is in a column. For eg-
    Column 1 - 27th June 2012
Column 2 - Follow up with client X regarding abc.

    That's where?
    In an excel file.

    Organized how?
I am not sure what are you asking.

Multiple references per date or only one?
Mulitple. Can vary from 1 to 50.

Do you want the calendar to be dynamic centered on today or do you want it to be fed a given month manually?
Completely dynamic. I update the excel sheet, it should auto populate the calender that second.

Sorry for being so generalized, but I am not really aware of Excel jargon. Can we have a solution for my requirement?
