Plot histogram with part of chart area color

HI! I am needed to plot a histogram with a distribution curve and some part of the chart area color. I have plotted the the histogram and curve but unable to do the chart area color part. Also my histogram does not look alike to the given histogram as shown. Help needed! thanks in advanced!
