Dollar function in excel 2003 ?

As per thread (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...14#post2839014) I have a spreadsheet that works out the difference in age (months/years) and I have used the dollar function. Using excel 2010.

Unfortunately some users have excel 2003 and the last column, the column using the dollar function isn't working, is there an alternative I can use?

that function works fine in excel 97(which i'm testing with) and works in excel 2003 is the analysis tool pak add-in enabled for the 2003 users?
tools /addins/analysis toolpak
