Bar chart where one # in series is zero

I have a bar chart by year. Within each year is say 4 series (let's say 4 different types of revenue). If revenue is $0 in one type of revenue on one year, I don't want a gap to show but rather only 3 bars show on that year with no gap.
I can't just reorder them because I have more than 1 revenue category that has a $0.
